Our Unique Approach

Acupuncture and subconscious work both have depth - but when they’re combined with intention and precision, they become something else entirely. At A&I, that’s the work: bringing the body’s intelligence and the subconscious narrative into the same room, at the same time, so they can finally speak to each other. It’s a truly integrated approach that allows change to land at every level.

The Integration Cycle

The Integration Cycle is the architecture that holds this work. Acupuncture brings the body into regulation; subconscious work opens the deeper patterns beneath it. Together they create a rhythm - a five-stage arc your system naturally follows when it’s shifting at depth. The cycle names that arc so you can understand where you are, what’s happening, and what each stage makes possible.

Five Element Acupuncture

Five Element Acupuncture

Acupuncture works by settling the nervous system and giving the body the conditions it needs to repair itself. Most people come in feeling tense, wired/tired, or stuck in unhelpful patterns - the needles help switch the body out of stress mode so digestion, sleep, mood, pain levels and overall regulation can improve.

A session is simple: we talk briefly about what’s going on, I take your pulses, do the needles (only one at a time in this practice) and we watch your system recalibrate.

In the early stages weekly sessions are best, because the body responds to rhythm. Once things stabilise, we space appointments out. It’s a practical, physiological way of supporting all the deeper work you’re doing.

Subconsious Repatterning

Subconsious Repatterning

Subconscious repatterning (the Theta Healing model) is the part of the work that deals with the things you can’t think your way out of - the emotional reflexes, beliefs and protective behaviours that run automatically underneath everything.

In a session we drop into the slower, theta brainwave where those patterns and beliefs become more malleable. We identify what’s actually driving the problem, clear what’s outdated, and create space for a healthier response to take root. It’s not hypnosis and it’s not talk therapy; you’re fully conscious, but we’re working at the level where change happens quickly and holds.

Session are longer individually, but less frequent than acupuncture. I recommend at least one a month.

This work pairs with acupuncture because it shifts the “why,” while acupuncture helps your body integrate the “what next.”

The Integration Cycle

A five-phase process for whole-system healing.

Every treatment plan follows this rhythm. Acupuncture stabilises your system so you’re not doing deep work from a dysregulated place; subconscious repatterning meets the patterns that acupuncture can’t reach on its own. One clears the static, the other changes the signal. As the two weave together, your system naturally moves through the five phases of the Integration Cycle - the emotional truth becomes visible, the body softens, the outdated patterns lose charge, and the shift becomes lived rather than understood. This is why the work lands at depth: each modality does what the other can’t, and the cycle holds it all in a coherent arc.

1.Initiate

You turn toward yourself and let the momentum begin.

This is the moment when something inside you refuses to stay stuck - when you feel the pull to stop coping and finally do something about it

2. Acknowledge

We name what’s really going on, even if it isn’t what you first thought.

This is the moment when the real issue comes into focus - the emotional truth behind the symptoms finally gets named.

3. Digest

Your system processes the material and understanding starts to form.

This is the moment when your body softens, the overwhelm untangles, and the story gains shape so you can actually feel and process what you’ve been carrying.

4. Release

What’s no longer needed drops away, creating space for more clarity and discernment.

This is the moment old tension, old beliefs, old emotional residue - the stuff you didn’t realise you were gripping - falls away.

5. Integrate

Your whole system reorganises and the shift becomes lived.

This is the moment when everything lands - your nervous system recalibrates, the change settles in, and you feel more like yourself: steadier, clearer, genuinely different.

The work isn’t about insight alone or regulation alone - it’s about bringing the whole system back into conversation with itself. That’s what creates real, lasting change.
